Join here in our free webinar on LGBT+ gender policy in the EU. Link to webinar: https://mediehuset-kbh.dk/lgbt-koenspolitik-i-eu/ The Danes have answered 9 questions about LGBT+ rights in the EU — 3 of these specifically addressed LGBT+ gender policy in the EU: 1) Does the change of legal sex be legal in all Member States? (2) Should persons under the age of 18 be able to change legal gender in all Member States? (3) Should EU Member States accept the gender chosen in their own country? The results on these questions will be elucidated and discussed by the guests on the webinar. There will be different guests on our 3 webinar, consisting of parliamentarians, experts and NGOs — and they are ready to debate your answers from the survey and to answer your questions! In the context of the Future Europe — LGBT+ rights project in the EU, 3 webinars have been produced and run, based on citizens’ answers to the questions in the survey “9 questions on LGBT+ rights in the EU”. The Webinars include experts and NGOs. The project is compiled in an in-depth report, which can be found here: https://mediehuset-kbh.dk/fremtidens-europa The Webinar ‘LGBT+ Gender Policy in the EU’ has progressed as planned and has had satisfactory participation. During webinar, the preliminary results of the study were presented and discussed by the experts directly from the study in Copenhagen. During the webinar, participants could ask questions through the Mentimeter programme. Webinar lasted 1 hour and covered 3 of the 9 questions in the study, which took place on Monday 13 December 2021 from 4 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. Questions/statements for presentation and discussion: 1) Change of legal sex must be legal in all Member States. 2) Persons under the age of 18 must be able to change legal gender in all Member States. (3) EU Member States must accept the gender they identify with in their own country.
