Event reportFollowing a presentation on the situation of women and measures taken to combat violence against women in Vienna, France and Europe in the European Union, participants discussed ways of making this equality and combating violence effective at local level. — In rural areas, setting up CIDFF antennae: Information centre on the rights of women and families. — Educating boys and girls from an early age: typing a girl is not acceptable, being beaten or insulted is not acceptable. — Inform rural residents about resource persons, existing numbers, etc. — Putting the school and the institutions and associations receiving the young public at the centre of the strategy to combat: problem detection, youth education, etc. — Educating the aggressors.
