IDEEuropa- Discussions about the Europe of tomorrow. Fourth edition. Fake News
Fake news, manipulation…. We are happy to announce that we are going to organize a new debate on the harmful effects of fake news on human behaviour and on society as a whole. We have to take into account also the dark side of the media and social network, which as we know, have both changed the worldwide communication many times. We truly believe that fake news represents a real problem that has impacted informal education through the internet and could affect our decisions in the future. Therefore we want to put a light on the problem of fake news and to discuss how we could stop it. Also we will analyse this topic from different angles: a legal, a social and a cultural perspective. In this episode, we have invited two remarkable experts on this field Vlad Vasile Bărbat, PhD. in Comparative Law (magna cum laude) and Daiana Velcherean, Master Degree in Multilingual Communications focused on International Relations, Université Libre in Brussels. If you are interested in this topic, we kindly invite you to participate in a new edition of ”IDEEuropa- Discussions about the Europe of tomorrow’’, 30 september, around 7:00 PM. This series of events aim to create brainstorming sessions for the participants in order to put in light new concrete ideas about the future of Europe. At the foundation of this type of conferences are the European Parliament, European Council and the European Comision, which have taken the initiative to create and to promote them. This conference is organised by the League of Romanian Students Abroad (Italian team) LSRS Italy. We are grateful to the Romanian Embassy in Rome, which has supported this event.
