The PROTECTOR (PROTECTing places of wORship) project, being supported by the G20 Interfaith Forum and the United Nations Inter-Regional Crime & Justice Research Institute (UNICRI), is funded by the European Commission Internal Security Fund - Police (AG-PROTECT-101034216), bringing public authorities, law enforcement agencies, academia and the private sector together, to design and develop innovative technological solutions to enhance safety and security at places of worship and sites of religious significance. To examine and explore the ethical challenges and complexities of balancing security and privacy, the PROTECTOR project is hosting a webinar to inform, engage and seek the views of citizens, serving to address these sensitive issues.
