The aim of the discussion is to review the period of Lithuania’s accession to the EU, to consider whether there is a place for Europe in our homes, how much membership affects our lives, how much we can contribute to the future of Europe ourselves, what we can do more specifically, how much action in Europe and in the world affects us, the inhabitants of a small town. The discussion will be moderated by Arnoldas Pranckevičius, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, who will talk about the latest events in Europe, listen to the opinion of the audience, answer questions and public speaking expert Igor Vasiliauskas, who will move the audience for an active discussion.

Event report
The event took place on topical topics in the EU. The discussion was attended by Arnoldas Pranckevičius, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, and the event was moderated by public speaking expert Igor Vasiliauskas. Daiva Jakaitė, Head of the Bureau of the European Parliament, also took the floor. The audience consisted of leaders of various institutions, employees, representatives of NGOs, young people, journalists from newspapers in the region, representatives of Taurage radio and Tauragė TV. The debate was about how much Europe is in our home, i.e. how much each citizen feels the benefits of EU membership, what is encouraging, what worrys, how much Tauragė region responds to the Green Deal. People were also interested in the idea of building an EU army, the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, the audience was interested in how to organise the Conference on the Future of Europe in their organisations, and discussed the technical details of the platform.Related Ideas
