PUBLIC INTERVIEW: “CONSUMER RIGHTS”
CDE Discipol Roma Tre is organising an event (in Italian) on 31 May 2021 (beginning at 10.00) to discuss European citizens’ ideas and proposals on consumer rights in relation to, but not limited to, the European Commission’s ‘New Consumer Agenda — Strengthening Consumer Resilience for a Sustainable Recovery’. If you wish to participate in the event, register at http://bit.ly/cofe2021 and advance your proposal by email (by 25 May 2021) to email@example.com. Remember that you will have to present your proposal in person during the event!
Event reportThe event took place with the participation of experienced audiences and university students, with the moderation of Dr Claudia De Stefanis (Rappr. in Italy of the EC). The experts interviewed with the public and analysed the proposals submitted via email and live, setting out their own views and possible strategies for the protection of consumer rights. In particular, the strategy and measures affecting consumers online (Dona, consumer.IT) and relations between national enforcement authorities and European bodies (Calabrò, AGCM) were discussed. The retransmission of the event can always be visible at the following link: https://youtu.be/gnAMz_ASTf4
