After finishing my university education in International Relations in Salonique, Greece, I moved to Brussels for a DES in European Politics (2 years Master's degree). I had my stage at the EP and got involved with the European Youth Networks as a representative of the Youth Committee of the confederation of Greek syndicates to the ETUC Youth to which I served as President for 2 years and its representative to EYF assembly for 4 years. EYF elected me as its representative to the Advisory Council on Youth of the CoE and to the Programming Committee of the European Youth Foundation. Having served European Youth for quite a decade and having grown a bit older I entered the private sector, developing my own businesses in Luxembourg, which I sold in 2017 and moved back to Greece. Currently I serve as the CSO of a group of companies based in my hometown Patras
I want less sovereignty for the top (EU) and more sovereignty for the bottom (regions). I want EU countries to stop colonizing the south through tourism and investments in real state and influencing our politics, buying our governments with the next gen. funds. I want a Mediterranean Union with only countries touching the sea, from the South and the North of it. I feel more related with these countries than with central and northern Europe. The actual European Union is based on a racial basis, at a subconscient level, a Union of "white countries". But culturally, the climates, and subsequently, the means of production and material culture, hence also cultures in general, are rather diverse and unrelated. The current Union is fictional. Not only that, the (economic) power of the citizens is asimetrical depending on which country they are from. Enough.
