How do young people imagine the European transport of the future? How can this be designed without limits — faster, more straightforward, more sustainable, digital? How can EU transport policy help connect European states, including EU citizens, in the future? “Communicate, participate in shaping — It’s about you: Mobility of the future: Sustainable, networked and individual" On 30 November 2021, we, the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, want to share digitally with pupils from German border regions. In two parallel workshops on “Sustainable Transport” and “Connected Mobility”, students will discuss how EU transport policy can help connect European states, including EU citizens, to make travel more sustainable, faster and easier, while promoting environmentally friendly and digital solutions. The results of the workshops will then be discussed with experts from the BMVI. Together, we would like to discuss and develop new approaches, ideas and ideas with the students, which we would then like to incorporate into the process of the “Conference of the Future”. The students’ ideas are at the centre of the process! The discussion is public and can be followed digitally by all interested parties on our website (www.bmvi.de/eu-dialog).
