Exploring RIS3 synergies with a view to identifying cooperation projects that contribute to the implementation of the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0. Fostering innovative projects and new business linked to the Blue Economy
The session focuses on the Smart Specialisation cooperation opportunities in the Blue Growth area, in relation to the Atlantic Action Plan 2.0. The workshop will aim to share knowledge to cluster together and scale up innovative products and services in the field of action under the Atlantic Strategy (ports activity, marine renewable energies, skills and healthy oceans/resilient coasts).
The aim is to help Atlantic regions better harness the opportunities provided in the programming period by identifying potential Blue Economy innovation partnerships. It will in particular enable Atlantic stakeholders to respond more effectively to the new Interregional Innovation Investment instrument and will go beyond the Thematic Smart Specialisation Platforms.
We seek to exploit synergies in the RIS3 of the regions of the Atlantic and to identify further cooperation opportunities for innovative projects and new business linked to the Blue Economy.
