Event report
— The time from summer to winter was recently amended. There was a discussion and the signatures were collected to stop changing the time, so many people did not understand where this discussion was stuck, why are we still changing the time from summer to winter and back? — Many people are inclined to have no influence in their power not only on the processes in their own municipality and in their country, where there is something else to determine in Europe. Discussions and forums where each voice can be heard and heard should be further encouraged in the future. — Society in Latvia is now more divided than ever. Currently, the most relevant division is among the vaccinated, unvaccinated, but ethnic, education, rural and urban population contrasts are also topical. From the outside point of view, Western Europe, for example, manages the COVID crisis more easily because it is less divided internally. In the future, the unity of Latvian society, the ability to see and achieve common goals should be further promoted.

The most important issue for the future is the use and development of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The European Commission’s proposal for a Regulation on AI needs to be improved, with a stronger focus on research into the development and control of superintellect (general, universal, strong AI (SMI)) on the development and use of military robots. The creation of a strong AI (SMI) is possible in the near future and therefore the initial orientation of the SMI (the purpose of action) must be made friendly to humanity.
