The Political Network for Values ​​(PNfV) will present on June 18, in its Transatlantic Dialogues, the results of a decade of public policy aimed at strengthening the family in Hungary.

We will talk with Balázs Molnár, Vice President of the Maria Kopp Institute for Demography and Families, and former Undersecretary of State for European Affairs of the Prime Minister’s Office in Hungary, who will present the keys and results of family policy of Viktor Orbán's government.

Due to the actions of the government, Hungary has achieved the highest increase among the birth rates of the European countries and the number of abortions has decreased as well. The ratio of divorces has dropped by 22% since 2010, while there have been 43% more marriages.

At the forefront of this process has been Katalin Novák, Hungarian Family Minister and President of the PNfV, who affirms that the government is looking at the future from our present, strengthening families who want to have children.

Hungarian families with the desire to have children count with numerous advantages: a favorable tax system, housing program, easy access to services, attractive discounts and credits, as well as financial aid, among others.

Balázs Molnár was one of the idealizers of the Hungarian family policy and will present its structure, key elements, difficulties and results of the last 10 years to the members of the PNfV and those interested.
