National Citizens' Panel on the future of Europe
The German National Citizens’ Panel is an opportunity for citizens in Germany to actively contribute their own ideas on the future of Europe. They will discuss how to safeguard the EU’s common democratic values and to strengthen the rule of law, how to succeed in the transition to a sustainable and digitalised economy and society as well as the role the EU plays in the world.
A total of 100 randomly selected citizens are invited to take part in the National Citizens’ Panel in Berlin. It will start on 5 and 8 January 2022 with five online discussions each attended by 20 participants. On 15 and 16 January 2022, all one hundred of them attend a two-day online conference at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin.
The National Citizens’ Panel is being organised by the Federal Foreign Office with the support of ifok GmbH.
