We need to have migrant camps in syria, tunisia, gambia, guiana and all other countries that migrants come from, so we can provide help to them there, this will cost less to our governement, will protect more people, and no jihadist will enter here

Ich bin dafür in den jeweiligen Ländern zeitweise Camps einzurichten. Darin aber auf jeden Fall Kinder zu unterrichten, evtl. Erwachsenen auch eine Weiterbildung zu ermöglichen. Lehrkräfte sind in den betroffenen Ländern nicht teuer und ausreichend vorhanden. Migration muss sich nach dem Arbeitsmarkt der EU-Länder richten. Kein Zuzug ohne Arbeitsplatz. Ich sehe nicht ein, dass für mehr und mehr Migration in der EU wertvolles Ackerland mit Wohnungen bebaut werden muss, während die Herkunftsländer regelrecht "Land satt" haben. Der Wohnungsmarkt ist in der EU schon jetzt stark angespannt und Wohnraum ist in der EU mehrfach teurer als in den Herkunftsländern. Sogenannte Wirtschaftsflüchtlinge würden mit dem vorgeschlagenen System das Interesse verlieren, in die EU zu kommen.

Agree. If the asylum seekers don't have to cross the Mediterranean to apply for it less of them will die trying and less human trafficking will take place.
And whoever is rejected won't be in the country and eat up resources that could be used to process others.

Contre, cela serait une trop grosse remise en cause du droit d'asile ! Comment l'Europe pourrait-elle garantir que les droits fondamentaux des personnes sont respectés dans des "camps" qui ne sont pas sur son sol ? Nous voyons bien déjà les soucis avec la Turquie qui menace d'ouvrir les portes quand bon lui semble, nous ne devons pas reproduire ce genre d'erreur.
Your concerns are valid - these camps, if I read correctly, are only a first-step towards getting to the EU. Only the clarification of status is done in the country, removing dangerous trips to the EU and costly deporations for non-accepted people. While also maybe convincing some to stay anyway, in that aiding their country.
No, this is the first step to stay OUT of the eu.
Everything will be handle in these countries, we will provide everything to migrants stay away, so we can prevent terrorists arriving here.

Afghans in this case are a BIG exception, because terrorist detection was not done IN afghanistan, but in the country of arrival for speed and logistics reason.
Le droid d'asile c'est une chose, aujourd'hui ce qui s'arrive en europe c'est une invasion. Personne a le droid de passer pour 3, 4 5 pays sur, pour se refugir dans l'autre qui a les meilleurs beneficies sociaux

Not a good idea.
We already have a system that runs refugee camps in other countries, the UNHCR. Why reinvent the wheel? How would EU camps be any different from UN camps? Instead, there should be more resources allocated to UN if that's what we want.
Also, if Europe is going to have concentration camps again, they should be in Europe, in plain sight, for everyone to see. We can't outsource our problems to third world countries.
I'm all for limiting irregular migration (see my proposal on quota-based burden sharing), but setting up inhumane camps by bribing local warlords is not the right way.
They run from UNHCR, to arrive untill europe, not because they dont have good conditions in camps or whatever, but once we close the doors, they'll see that run to europe will not work, so they'll stay in the camps.mps.
And it's not our problem, it's their problem, it's a duty from a country to take care of THEIR citizens . These migrants are all economical migrants, if they wanna enter here, come LEGALLY, otherwise, dont even try.
Your proposal is crazy, unrealisct and DANGEROUS, this will not END with illegal migrantion and we need to end with this.
People who "run from UNHCR" would run for EU camps also. There is nothing to be gained by paying foreign countries to solve our problems, it just leads to extortion. Look at what happened when EU tried to pay Turkey to deal with the problem. It didn't work, and it never will.

And the deal with Turkey is a failure in terms of its effectiveness and cost per migrant. There is still a steady stream of migrants coming from Turkey to Greece, and returning them to Turkey is not working. Only a few thousand migrants have been sent back to Turkey under the agreement, which isn't worth the 3 billion euros that the arrangement has cost. Furthermore, do you think it will work in the long term to just keep paying the extortionist? Of course not.
We need to do something because otherwise they'll flood our beautiful land lime in 2015.
Talking about 2015, you said the deal with turkey didnt work, well... In 2015 we had more than 1 million of migrants passing through there, now days: maximum 100.000.
It still a lot but we have 10 times less, for just 3 billions, for me its a AWESOME DEAL.
If we had to deal with 3 millions more migrants like turkey today well: We would be ended, with our ferlity rate it would be the end of europe and the raise of eurabia.
But anyway: Yeah I also dont think paying the others its a very good deal, what we do need is to effectvelly seal our borders, but it still, just 3 billions to have 10 times less migrants, its a awesome deal

Good idea. These camps can be managed by the UN. The EU can send illegal immigrants to these camps. So they will not be on EU soil. From the camps they still can apply for asylum.

- ons leur propose de l'argent pour partir , énormément refuse ...
- le seul moyen de la renvoyer est de les expulsés ... ( mais lá , îls y a toute les ONG sponsoriser sur le systeme migrâtoire , risque de poser dè gros probleme )

Dàns une grande partis de ses pays d'Afrique du nords , les gouvernements nous sont opposer , pour tout ses gents lá migrâtion de peuplement que subis l'Europe est de notre faute , Çar nous somme responsable ( indireçte ) dè l'échec économique et politique des pays de se continent ( Afrique ) .
Je crois que nous devons trouver le courrage de leur dire certaine véritées .
- qu'ils sont incapable de develloper la prospérité économique de leur pays , et que 60 àns Apres lá decollonisation lés choses sont malheureusement pire .
- l'absence d'une volonté de contrôle de la natalité a conduits tous ses pays á une expension dès besoin sans aucun devellopement dès richesses sur plaçe .
- nous somme opposer à cette migrâtion subis ( clandestine ) , les pays africain doivent maintenir leur forçe active pour develloper leur pays africain.
- l'union europeen appliquera une immigration choisie , réduite , suivent nos besoins ...
