A medical prescription written in one country of the EU should be accepted in all EU countries. We would have a “EU medical prescription”.
Perhaps an international code could be added to the prescription which would be recognizable in every pharmacy inside the EU.

Ps: this “EU medical prescription” typology would be designed for some medication, (not all of them) and made according to each chemical. A list of chemicals/medication to be prescribed at the EU-level as well as their coding would have to be created to facilitate supranational acceptance.

What do you mean with "accepted"? It can mean many things: that the drug is sold by pharmacists in all EU-countries, or does it mean it should be reimboursed according to the country's law? What if the drug is not approved in one EU-country - should its import be allowed?
A list would have to be created for "simpler" medications that are generally sold everywhere. For example, Aspirine, (acetylsalicylic acid), or Losec (Omeprazol), among others. This list of medications would also have to be accepted in EU countries completely or partially. The main idea is to begin with a small list of medications that are allowed to be sold (perhaps in the beginning completely at market price) if the person is holding a medical prescription from a EU doctor. This is purely an idea but development in this area would help a lot of people.

As far as I know, you can use a prescription from one Member State in another, not all pharmacies accept them, but some do. Usually, pharmacies located in border towns accept prescriptions from other member states, sometimes online pharmacies. You won't get reimbursement for the medicine you buy abroad, though.
That is good to know but it hasn't been my experience. Usually, pharmacies in other countries tell me they first need a prescription from a doctor from that country and do not accept from other countries. Greetings.

We could even go further and imagine a sort of general "EU health care system" (even if this is optional and citizens would opt in and out freely) where citizens could subscribe for a small fee (those who never travel -and they are more numerous than we think- would not need to subscribe to it) and get their medications anywhere in EU with a EU prescription delivered anywhere else in EU, and the medication would be refunded by the "EU medical health care system" itself, not the country of usual residence.
It is silly that if you have a repeat prescription (let's say for a year) delivered by a country, you should have to go and see another doctor in another country everytime you move around the EU to carry on getting your medication. All should be coordinated in EU. This is the only path to success.
At the moment, the EHIC card seems to work for emergency treatment only while you are abroad (I mean outside your usual country of residence in the EU) and I think it should be extended.
