The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development will hold a series of panel discussions and a conference from 20 September to 27 October 2021 to stimulate discussion with various stakeholders and the general public on the challenges and opportunities for a fair and effective transition of Croatia to climate neutrality. The EU's climate ambition, which is shared by Croatia, will affect all segments of society and the aim is to establish a dialogue in society so that it is aware of the changes that need to be undertaken while reaching a broad consensus of all parts of society. Through eight separate panel discussions, the target groups will be given the opportunity to first discuss within their group and consider their role in the transition. Panels are held for the business sector, decision makers at the local and regional level, youth, media, education sector, scientists, trade unions, civil society organizations. A separate survey will be developed for each panel in order to collect data on the information and attitudes of the target group. The results of the survey will be discussed live on the Panel by selected panelists with the help of a moderator, while comments will be received online during the discussion. Each panel will make its own conclusions and recommendations and will present it at the final Conference and the discussion between the different groups will continue. The Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development will develop consolidated conclusions and recommendations, which it will publish on its website.

The discussion includes eight individual panels on eight days that will last for 1,5 hours on 20/09/2021, 22/09/2021, 24/09/2021, 27/09/2021, 1/10/2021, 5/10/2021, 6/10/2021, 11/10/2021; and Final Conference - 27/10/2021.
