Connectivity in rural areas is transport and are services. Being connected in rural areas means having access not only to broadband but to public and private services: medical, education, commerce, etc. and put in place adapted transport systems, to make this access to services possible. If we have the internet, but we don‘t have access to medical services, we don’t have anything. Digitalisation of services, i.e. access to, for example, health centres via the internet is a medium-term project, which in rural areas is more difficult to implement due to the average age of the population. That is why and taking into account the current situation, we propose to improve transport systems, with means that adapt to the special characteristics of the rural population: age, dispersion.... Cofe-PROP-2021-10-111277 At the workshop organised by EUROPE DIRECT Castilla y León Rural, in collaboration with Princal and the Adrimo Local Action Group, on 4 October 2021, women expressed their views on the Future of the Rural Environment and stated that young people and children are needed. Without women, the rural environment has no future. If the European Union intends to make rural areas more prosperous, resilient, connected and strong, it should NOT SAVE THE PAPEL OF THE RURAL WOMEN. Measures are therefore needed to facilitate the lives of women in rural areas: mainly access to employment and services. The major problem in rural areas is population ageing and depopulation. Women are the driving force for sustainability in rural areas, both socially, economically and environmentally. The rural environment needs entrepreneurs and these need specialised training Cofe-PROP-2021-12-182491 Entrepreneurs in rural areas need specialised training: entrepreneurship sessions to shape your initiatives. Their ideas will favor the areas and their inhabitants. The aim is to promote the entrepreneurial culture and to support the revitalisation of business activities linked to the possibilities and resources of the territories. All with the aim of promoting sustainable, comprehensive and balanced rural development at all levels, be it economic, social, cultural and environmental in rural areas. It is necessary to capture and maintain talent as the rural area is increasingly depopulated and is, however, a great niche market to be developed through sustainable and respectful entrepreneurship.Related Ideas
