Event report available
Our webinar about climate policy and sustainability is an event for the members of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. We will discuss the relevant European legislation processes that can affect the SME’s or families, and talk about the possible outcomes of the European climate strategy. We believe that we should do everything we can to stop climate change, but we also have to act wisely.

Event report
The Ministry of Justice and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a webinar about the importance of green transition and climate politics on 7 July 2021. In the webinar, there were two excellent presenters, who gave us a great view about the current legislative processes in Europe including the Hungarian perspectives. During the consultation we learnt that there are many good initiatives regarding climate policy and green transition, but many of them are not feasible without putting too much burden on SMEs, entrepreneurs and families especially in smaller members states such as Hungary. Future green policies should guarantee fair conditions and competition on the market for all stakeholders and provide sufficient time to complete the necessary transition. Therefore we believe it is important to involve economic actors, organizations, national and foreign chambers of commerce in the legislative processes and in the work for sustainable development that does not lead to extreme costs paid by smaller economies, families and the most vulnerable part of the society.Related Ideas
