The Micheli-Bolognesi Comprehensive Institute of Livorno - Italy,
in partnership with
Municipality of Livorno,
Asa SpA Livorno,
Aamps SpA,
Slow Food Livorno,
Italian Naval League-Livorno,
European Network of Climate Ambassadors: EuropeanClimatePact Ambassadors,
is pleased to present the first Climate Forum: The Children of the Earth,
a day entirely dedicated to raising awareness and disseminating good practices to combat the risks of climate change taking place on our planet as envisaged by the European Green Deal.
The European Green Deal aims to make Europe climate neutral by 2050. To make this goal legally binding, the Commission has proposed the European climate law, which also sets a new and more ambitious target to reduce net gas emissions to greenhouse effect of at least 55% by 2030 compared to 1990 levels.
The contest includes institutional interventions, dialogues, round tables and proposals from the "Children of the Earth". All schools are invited to participate by following the live streaming and to "Play" with us. . The comparison and analysis of climate-changing factors will guide the children in a series of reflections on the footprint
of the lifestyle of families and the perception of risks
environmental aspects of climate change in a path of awareness e
individual and social transformation.
The event will be viewable in live streaming Facebook Live and on the platform of the European Commission Conference on the Future of Europe.
To achieve our decarbonisation goals, emissions must be reduced in all sectors, from industry and energy to transport and agriculture. Climate change is a global threat and can only be addressed with a global response.
