Conference-debate organised by the Movement of Citizens for Change (MCC) as part of the conference on the future of Europe. The purpose of this conference will be to discuss the measures of the Green Pact for Europe, the aim of which is to combat climate change that could lead to more and more floods and storms. Europe Direct Utena, library volunteer Lea Šapolaitė and Utena Youth Information Centre are organising a youth debate on “How to light the green light towards sustainability?” for Europe Day and the European Green Deal. Young people will discuss the positive and negative aspects of distance learning and work from an ecosystem perspective. The pandemic hit the public and damaged people’s normal lives. One of the biggest challenges faced by the education system was: both teachers, students and parents had to quickly reorient from a conventional learning system to a remote one. Questions will be raised not only on work performance, skills, physical and mental health, but also on the use of electricity, whether consumption patterns, mobility, mobility, consumption of natural resources have changed.

Mapping the itinerary for Serbia’s EU accession policy concerning environmental issues in line with COM’s Fit for 55 agenda. The conference aims at discussing actions taken, issues that still need to be tackled and the possible support from MS (namely HU) to facilitate accession negotiations.
