How can we provide digital education for the underprivileged?
In this event, we will be exploring the various educational challenges for the underprivileged, including but not limited to orphans, low income families, refugees and asylum seekers. The Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027) outlined the European Commission’s strategy for greater integration of digital education, especially in response to the unprecedented transition to online education from the COVID-19 pandemic.
This event will be a hybrid event, with students of UWC Atlantic College and online listeners. Please refer to the information below for the different notes of the participation category:
In-person participants (Exclusive to UWCAC students)
In person participants will be engaging with structured design thinking and systematic thinking to brainstorm ideas to combat the problem with all the knowledge from the presentations. With the final product creating a thought-provoking flipbook of the results and summary of the student’s response to the educational issues given to EU representatives and external members.

Gratulálunk az izgalmas témaválasztáshoz és a konferencia szervezéséhez. Különösen jó megoldás a hallgatók aktív bevonása, a releváns civil szervezetek részvétele. Reméljük, a tapasztalatokat és jó gyakorlatokat bemutató előadásokat online is olvashatjuk majd.
