Junior European Parliament ambassadors, students who are involved in the European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS) programme, are going to debate Europe’s future: How should Europe look like according to them in 2050?
There will be multiple online events. All of them are structured around 5 topics of the Conference. Students work collaboratively in small online international teams to prepare presentations and proposals related to these topics. There will be online meetings in which a different topic will be on the programme every month. Students vote for the proposal they like best. The proposals will be shared on this platform. There will be online debates to discuss the topics with Members of the European Parliament and others involved in the EU decision making process as well.

Junior European Parliament ambassadors, students who are involved in the European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS) programme, are debating Europe’s future: How should Europe look like in 2050? There are multiple online events. All are structured around 5 topics of the Conference. These events differ from many others because the students involved are between 14 and 18 years old. About 50 students from 14 different EU member states participated in the online event. Students collaborated in small international teams to prepare presentations and proposals regarding “Education ”. They shared their proposals in the online event and voted for the proposal(s) they considered the most important. Students were able to discuss their proposals during the event with Mrs Esther Bauer, Mrs Helen Butler and Mr Yannis A Stivachtis. These are students' proposals related to "Education": Education should not be about quantity, but about quality; No competition; Pupils/students shouldn't stress over school subjects that will not be chosen for the exam; Teachers should be given the right wages; Different school structure and adequate programs/classes; All students should be treated equally; Training on how to use digital apps for both students and teachers; The reform of the educational system (acknowledge the importance of extra curricular programmes); To upgrade the online school system considering the current situation the world is; Classes for the jobs of the future, the world is constantly moving, new things are discovered every day and new jobs will appear; Improvement of: Sexual Education; English Education; Curriculum-Schedule; Every school should have a School Canteen
