Event report

Within the framework of the Universal National Service in CANTAL, a day was dedicated to Europe. After presenting the European Union and the flagship programme ERASMUS+, the 94 young people aged 16 to 18 and their attendants were able to express themselves in small groups throughout the day on the theme “What Europe want young people?”. Many ideas emerged from the debates divided into three themes: — European Citizenship and Youth – Green deal – facilitating the daily lives of young European citizens. Aged 16 to 18 for the 94 young people in the SNU and 18 to 25 for their officers, they are first voters in the next elections. Young people are in demand for information on the EU countries they know little or no. There is no or little feeling of belonging to the EU.
