Event report available
Europa Direct Sydskåne is setting up stations on the streets and squares for citizens’ dialogue. We focus on visitors’ vision for the future and the EU’s opportunities for them. Our visitors will see: 1. #YoungPoets4Europe. We show our information film about and hand out postcards around our estrad poetry competition where young people get to make their vision of the future heard and learn how to beat their performing arts. 2. “The way to the money.” We recommend our YouTube channel where you can see our webinaries series on how companies and organisations in the region can find EU funding. 3. Round of tips on “EU opportunities”. We provide information about Euroscola, Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps and other opportunities for personal development that go hand in hand with community development!

Event report
This summer, Europa Direkt Sydskåne has been on a summer tour in collaboration with Summer in Sjöbo. We have met local residents and told us about the EU’s opportunities. Our focus has been to inform about the scholarship of 5000 SEK dedicated to the two winners of our estrad poetry competition, gid://decidim-dife/Decidim::Hashtag/1750/youngpoets4Europe. Yesterday it was a hot summer day, so many residents around Sövdesjön took the opportunity to swim and play in the nice bathing area. We at Europe Direct Sydskåne had our outdoor event, focusing on entrepreneurship and young people’s visions for the future. You could also take the opportunity to go our round of great prizes to learn more about EU opportunities, such as Euroscola, the European Solidarity Corps, EURESjobs and Erasmus+. We had invited the parkour pro Emanuel Hansson from Sjöbo as an example and inspiration on how to beat coins of your dreams. Working with your favorite interest, whether it’s a sport such as parkour or culture such as estrad poetry, is a dream for many and we at Europe Direct Sydskåne want to support young people to venture to develop their entrepreneurship and their visions for the future. Our estrad poetry competition gid://decidim-dife/Decidim::Hashtag/1750/youngpoets4Europe opens up the opportunity for young people between 13-25 years old, with a scholarship of 5000 SEK to share their vision for the future. A scholarship is available in each age category, 13-17 and 18-25 years.
