Event report available
In connection with the theme of the call, we would look at the role and good practices of European and domestic innovation competitions in education, making proposals to strengthen good practices and methods. We plan to present its workshops on the most important and successful innovations in Hungary at the one-day conference in the spirit of the European Education Dialogue. We would widen the range of Hungarian participants with the achievements of the VET centres in innovation competitions, with results in robotics, digitalisation and other technical knowledge. In the morning of the conference and workshop, 2 plenary lectures and 3 young European innovation competitions would give a presentation. The 2 regional vocational training centres would be introduced in the afternoon section.

The Future of Europe Conference series Bolyai Pedagogical Foundation Location: Kossuth Club Date: 2022.03.24. 16:00 1 The role of European and domestic innovation competitions in education Ideas for the renewal of the OTTDK competition: — the new name of the competition Beam — tasks: contact the organisers of the MAKER faire event https://makerfairerome.eu/en/ — “all project elements need to define their specific purpose” — I do not want to follow the concept of regional-national-central competitions as they are outdated — whether the competition should be registered with the Education Office, and to find out — universities and companies involved in the competition (ELTE info faculty, DWC,) — individual/university scholarships can be awarded to the winner(s)/competents, — automatic university admission to the best, to be reconsidered — other scholarships, e.g.: startups for startups — a good idea: the best of the competitions can go to international competitions e.g.: Maker Faire 2022/23 — participation in international competition exhibitions is also an experience for participants connected with an excursion — it is necessary to define the target group before the competition is announced, — is it possible to determine how many teams can participate? — networking with educational institutions and schools (domestic, cross-border) — there could also be a prize for participating in the Budapest Innovation Group, with condolences in the camps organised by them, participating in workflows — perhaps the winners would not receive a specific prize, but rather an opportunity to connect to a community, — to provide an office for young talented winners, — the involvement of good professionals, mentors in the competition, the provision of mentors (engineers, professionals), — the launch of a young mentor program, — specific, personalised mentoring, — “elite competition” for Beam! — could the Beam race end in a Hackathlon, — race model: Maker Faire — providing office space for further development — mentoring, mentoring — investing in competitions-meeting-incubationRelated Ideas
