Event reportIn a mixture between open space and world café, 35 participants in Schwerin sought and found ideas on the subject. It should be a strong Europe that assumes more responsibility, has a prudent and constructive approach to conflicts and a defence community with joint armed forces. The aim is to protect old vegetables and fruit varieties and to create comparable and transparent standards. Incidentally, the killing of chickens was something that we would like to extend to all of Europe. We were concerned with the promotion of rail freight transport and the development of economic relations in Europe, against cheap imports from other countries: we need a shorter economic path for assets. Circular economy is to be developed, tax havens avoided. All professions in Europe should be mutually recognised. Baltic fishermen need protection. Large corporations must be constrained by power. In the area of “coexistence in Europe”, we wanted to identify the best of all nations in terms of best practice. In addition, we are all about writing European history together, literally through a joint project of European regions in which tradition and culture are lived together. Free Interrail for people over 18 years old. A common language — be it Esperanto or Latin or...? Unanimity in decisions at EU level must also be abolished. It was about exchange with other countries, an annual European festival with music and something to eat. We would like to learn Polish at VHS and attend a “Europe Course”. Once a year a European flashmob. It was a successful event that brought people close together on a late afternoon in October and cooler temperatures.
