Event report
The main purpose of the event is to present the standpoints of the Visegrad Cooperation about the Western Balkans and the EU enlargement, the results of the Hungarian Presidency, the projects of the International Visegrad Fund in the region, as well as the Czech position and EU concerns about the Western Balkans. The lectures were followed by a lively dialogue with the audience. Within her remarks, the Ambassador of Slovenia presented the results of the ongoing Slovenian EU Presidency regarding the EU enlargement of the Western Balkans. The event was closed by a standing reception. The conclusion of the conference was that despite the numerous disagreements the main goal still keep the integration of the Western Balkans into the European Union. This process is essential for protecting the security of Europe and handling the migration flow.
