Panel discussion on green policies within the European Union and environmental challenges. Sustainability and green policies are a strong focus of the European Union, especially considering that the European Green Deal has set the goal of making Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. The European Green Deal contains a framework with measures to enhance resource efficiency by moving towards a clean circular economy and to halt climate change, restore biodiversity and reduce pollution. The aim of the panel discussion that will bring together 50 young people is to educate about sustainable and circular economy, the importance of green policies on economic and social development and raising the quality of life, and to encourage the exchange of knowledge and opinions on these topics.
