Europa Futura | Linkiesta’s proposals (and beyond) to reform the European Union
Linkiesta organises a video conference on Tuesday 7 December dedicated to the commitment of the Conference on the Future of Europe to refine the mechanisms and dynamics of European democracy. Participate in the video conference Sandro Gozi, MEP of Renew Europe; Valentina Balzani, one of the 200 European citizens chosen to speak at the Conference; Gianfranco Dell’Alba, Head of +EUROPA for relations with Alde; the leaders of the associations who wanted to contribute to the Conference on the Future of Europe by including their proposals here on the dedicated platform. Several proposals to be put in place to strengthen the rule of law and democracy within and in the Member States will be discussed. Linkiesta’s proposal concerns the introduction of postal voting across the EU for parliamentary or presidential elections; and the right to vote of European citizens residing in a Member State other than that of their nationality to participate in local elections in the city of residence.
