Conference to celebrate the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU
On Friday 17th of September there will be a conference organized by ALDA, DRPD Novo Mesto and Dunav 1245 to celebrate the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union 2021.
This conference is within the wider umbrella of the “Week of Culture of Novo Mesto”.
It will start at 12 PM CET with an opening speech from Antonella Valmorbida, Secretary General of ALDA - European Association for Local Democracy, explaining what is the Conference on the Future of Europe and outlining its potentialities.
Moreover, a second intervention will be cover by Dejan Gluvacevic, Direction of the Project Management sector at Danube 1245 and ALDA Ambassador in Slovenia, who will illustrate the “DESIRE” project (Declaration Schuman: Initiative for Revitalizing Europe), which aims at actively involving the youth as far as inclusivity and citizenship concern.
Furthermore, the third part of the webinar will be covered by Celia Charre, project manager at ALDA, who will tackle the “PERCEPTIONS” project, which investigates the information flows from and to migrants and the possible distortions effects.
Finally, the webinar will conclude with Eva Trentin, Membership officer at ALDA, explaining the “DEVOTE” project, which aims at enlarging the skill set of teacher in order to help out scholars with migrant background.
