Nachbericht: Online-Talk "Portuguese Presidency of the EU: Paving the way for the Conference on the Future of Europe". 28 TN über Zoom TEIL 1: Begrüßung durch Lidia Nabais, portugiesische Generalkonsulin in Düsseldorf, und Evgenia Strauß, ED Düsseldorf TEIL 2: Vorstellung der Prioritäten der portugiesischen Ratspräsidentschaft durch Carla Grijó, stellvertretende Generaldirektorin für europäische Angelegenheiten im portugiesischen Außenministerium Diese sind: • Soziale Dimension (Organisation des Sozialgipfels in Porto am 7. Mai) • Digitalisierung: Förderung einer digitalen Transformation im Dienste der Menschheit • Grüne Agenda: Übernahme einer führenden Rolle beim Klimaschutz • Stärkung Europas als internationaler Akteur bei gleichzeitiger Weltoffenheit TEIL 3: Vorstellung der Konferenz zur Zukunft Europas, inkl. digitale Plattform TEIL 4: Moderierte Fragerunde Fragen u.a.: • Who exactly within the EU is responsible for the approval of the national recovery plans. Deadline? • Status of and perspective on the migration issue? • How exactly will the citizens‘ ideas in the Conference on the Future of Europe find their way into the institutions? Who ensures they will be heard and dealt with? • Is the plattform already technically finalized or is it a sort of beta version with final start in full functionallity on 9th of May? I‘m asking because I tried it from several places and loading times are up to 18 seconds. Regarding the goal of digitalisation this is not convincing as a digital technical offer coming from the EU. • How do you ensure identification of EU citizens? As far as I can see a fake account is enough to contribute.
