On 6 May, hold a debate on the role of citizens in the new “Conference on the Future of Europe”. On Sunday 9 May, the European institutions launched the “Conference on the Future of Europe”, which also asked citizens about the best Europe of the future. What is the commitment of the Conference on the Future of Europe and what can this mean for the EU, European democracy and the current and future challenges of the European project? What are the opportunities on the table, and are Member States ready for far-reaching forms of participation? Are there also risks associated with this dialogue and how do we avoid democratic driving?
