Make your voice heard." organised by the European Documentation Centre "G.Comessatti" of the University of Udine. The aims of the project were explained, a general presentation of the Conference on the Future of Europe and the Online Platform was made. There was talk about rights, citizenship and civic participation, calling again for the participation of citizens in the Conference on the Future of Europe and highlighting some of the reflections and proposals that emerged throughout the entire journey with high school students and guests: the importance of fundamental rights; the protection of minorities and the enhancement of linguistic and cultural diversity; strengthening European civic participation by reforming the European Citizens’ Initiative so that proposals submitted in the manner provided for in the Lisbon Treaty are effectively transformed into legal acts; strengthening the competences of the European Parliament; the hope for the European Union’s institutional development in the federal sense; the greater relevance of the regional and local dimension in the European context; giving the European Union a more significant role at international level in promoting rights, peace and sustainable development.
