What do associations and foundations in the territory do? Who represents the interests of rural communities and what is the potential of the new opportunities for participation? What are the possible structures and communication models for the effective implementation of the potential for change in Latvia and Europe? In an interactive discussion we will discuss online with citizens, NGOs, representatives of the municipality and other interested parties, when the associations “Latvian Rural Forum” and “North Kurzeme Business Association” in cooperation with the Representation of the European Commission in Latvia invite to a discussion on the opportunities and potential that coordinated activity of inhabitants in the countryside can realise. The European regional development expert will also participate in the conversation, providing information on trends and the latest development principles in territorial development.
