ROMANIA

General information / approach:

In Romania events have been hosted or co-hosted by the administration, i.e. ministries (particularly the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, given its mandate in the realm of EU affairs), and institutes (for example the European Institute in Romania, the Diplomatic Institute, Aspen Institute). The civil society is also active, as well as the youth organisations. Furthermore, there have been organised events with the support of the Representation of the EU Commission and the Bureau of the European Parliament in Romania.

The debates organised in Romania have covered a wide range of topics, such as digitalisation, education, health, environment, sustainable development, economy, agriculture, EU’s strategic partnerships. Events have been organised in the capital and at local level. All age categories have participated in the debates.
