General information / approach:

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia is closely collaborating with the European Commission and European Parliament representations in Latvia, as well NGOs and think tanks to facilitate participation in the Conference. Representatives from Latvia in the Conference’s Plenary (Council, national parliament, MEPs and citizens’ representatives) are actively participating in various events organised by NGOs to discuss matters of common concern and to raise awareness of the Conference. Special emphasis has been put on youth engagement, as it concurs with the general principles of the Conference.

• National panel: Presentation of the nationwide poll and focus group discussions “Future of Europe – Latvia’s viewpoint and discussions”, December 8
  
• Series of regional in-person discussions to raise awareness of the CoFE to people aged 55+, September 9 – November 4
